Well, we made it through 2020. Despite the cold winter chill outside, the GAP staff is hard at work preparing for the 2021 golf season. This is the first in a series of monthly communications that will go out to you, our Club Ambassadors.
In addition to these monthly communications, we’re working on some other initiatives that we’ll be in touch regarding later in the year. We are also planning to publish a list of our Club Ambassadors in an upcoming edition of the GAP Magazine, so if you do not wish to serve in the role for your club this year, please let us know. |

MONTHLY FOCUS
GHIN Digital Profiles
| This month marks the launch of a new GHIN requirement – Digital Profiles. What this means is that if a golfer wishes to post a score on the GHIN Mobile App or on GHIN.com, they need to first create a digital profile. To make this possible, the golfer must first make sure that their email is on file with GHIN.
To get ahead of this process as much as possible before the start of the handicap posting season on April 1, GAP has created a form to collect updated email addresses from golfers. The form, which can be accessed at the button below, was sent to all clubs in December as we asked them to send it to members.
If you hear of any questions from your fellow club members about access to GHIN, feel free to have them reach out to our staff but in the meantime, this form is the easiest way to make sure that the golfer’s email address is updated prior to creating the Digital Profile.

GAP STAFF PROFILE
Taylor Hollander
| Taylor Hollander is GAP’s Director of Player Development and has been a member of the staff since 2017. Taylor is an accomplished player (former club champion at Kennett Square Golf and Country Club) in addition to her role at GAP. She oversees GAP’s initiatives to grow the game, including junior programs like Youth on Course and Golf in Schools as well as women’s programming.
